Men's Golf Competes in DFW at Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational presented by Charles Schwab

FORT WORTH – The No. 16 Texas A&M men's golf team faces an elite field in the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational presented by Charles Schwab Monday and Tuesday.
The event is back at the recently redesigned Colonial Country Club. The course plays at par 70 and 7,289 yards.
The tournament features a spectacular field, including six of the top eight teams from the most recent Bushnell/Golfweek Division I Coaches Poll. Thirteen of the 15 squads finished the 2024-25 campaign in the top 25 of the Scoreboard National Rankings powered by Clippd.
Three Aggies in the lineup have top 10 finishes early in the season. Aaron Pounds earned his first collegiate victory at the season-opening 2nd Swing Gopher Invitational while freshman Shiv Parmar place t-9th. Wheaton Ennis, a SEC All-Freshman performer last season, posted a t-9th at last week's OFCC/Fighting Illini Invitational.
Monday's shotgun start is slated for 8 a.m.

Colonial Country Club is one of the gems of the golf world. The club has annually hosted a PGA Tour event since 1946, the longest running non-major tour event to be held at the same venue. Colonial has also hosted the 1941 U.S. Open, 1975 Tournament Players Championship and 1991 U.S. Women's Open. The course went through a redesign in time for the 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge.
