Oct 18, 2025 | Volleyball
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 10 Texas A&M Volleyball team continues its homestand Sunday, hosting Arkansas at Reed Arena with first serve set for 2 p.m.
The Aggies made it back-to-back wins, securing their second-straight sweep versus Oklahoma to notch their sixth SEC victory. The Maroon & White controlled both sides of the net, hitting .271 while holding the Sooners to just .103, proving why they lead the SEC in opponent hitting percentage.
Logan Lednicky and Kyndal Stowers led the charge with 10 kills apiece, each swinging over .250. Lednicky added 10 digs to pair with her offensive production. In the middle, Ifenna Cos-Okpalla turned in a steady two-way showing with eight kills at a .357 clip and a team-high four blocks, while Morgan Perkins contributed six kills on an efficient .545 hitting percentage.
Guiding the offense, Maddie Waak tallied 29 assists and an ace, while on the back row, Ava Underwood provided seven digs to anchor the defense. Tatum Thomas also added an ace to round out a balanced team performance.
The Matchups
Sunday's contest marks the 20th meeting in program history between Texas A&M and Arkansas. The Aggies hold a narrow 10-9 edge over the Razorbacks, including a 5-4 advantage when competing inside Reed Arena. The Maroon & White claimed the most recent matchup in 2024, earning a 3-1 victory on its home court.
Texas A&M enters Sunday's match continuing their strong form, being 14-3 overall and 6-1 in SEC play, while Arkansas sits at 5-13 overall and 1-6 in league action. The Razorbacks look to halt a six-match skid in Aggieland, however they remain winless on the road this season.
