Offensively, senior running back Le'Veon Moss tallied 21 rushes for 139 yards (6.62) and scampered in for the Aggies' lone touchdown. Junior wide receiver KC Concepcion led all receivers with seven catches for 113 yards (16.14). Sophomore quarterback Marcel Reed finished the game 15-of-22 passing for 201 yards.

How It Happened
- On its opening drive of the contest, Texas A&M recorded a 1-yard rushing score from Moss to take the early lead. Moss' rushing score was the 21st of his career and capped a four-play, 66-yard drive that ate up just 1:41 off the clock.
- Auburn notched its first points of the game on a 32-yard field goal from Alex McPherson early in the second quarter, to pull within 7-3.
- The Aggies countered and added a field goal of their own after Bond converted from 33-yards out midway through the second frame.
- Bond then nailed a 49-yard field goal with 1:45 remaining before the break to extend the home team's advantage to 13-3.
- The score remained the same until the visitors registered a 72-yard interception return before quarterback Jackson Arnold finished off the short drive following a 2-yard rushing score to make it a 13-10 ballgame early in the fourth quarter.
- Bond capped the scoring with one final field goal, this time from 44-yards out, to create a 16-10 gap between the teams with 2:42 remaining.
- The Tigers tried to rally but Texas A&M's defense halted any signs of a comeback after forcing consecutive three-and-outs on Auburn's final two drives of the game.
Game Notes
- Reed became the 16th player in program history to surpass the 4,000-plus yard plateau for total offense. Reed reached the milestone in his 18th career game, making him the second-fastest Aggie to 4,000 behind only 2012 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel (11 games).
- With Concepcion's 113 receiving yards and Moss' 139 rushing yards, the Aggies had a 100-yard rusher and receiver in the same game for the first time since Sep. 28, 2024 when they did so against Arkansas (Moss – 117 rushing yards and Noah Thomas – 109 receiving yards).
- The Aggie defense held Auburn to a mere 177 yards of total offense and 10 points, including seven from a defensive turnover. The Tigers have not scored more than 10 points at Kyle Field since 2019.
- Bond's three field goals lifted him past Randy Bullock (2008-11) for No. 2 all-time on the Aggie career field goal chart and brought his career total to 64
- The Maroon & White held the Tigers to 0-for-13 on third down conversions, marking the first time the Aggies have accomplished the feat since 2018 against NC State.
UP NEXT
- Texas A&M gears for their second conference matchup when it hosts Mississippi State on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at Kyle Field.
