White Tabbed to Ray Guy Award “Ray’s 8” Week 1 List

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Texas A&M punter Tyler White was named one of "Ray's 8" for week 1, the Augusta Sports Council and the Ray Guy Award committee announced Tuesday afternoon.
White punted seven times for an average of 46.0 yards per boot, landing three inside the 20-yard line in the Aggies' win over UTSA. The Southlake, Texas, native booted three punts over 50 yards to boost his career average to 45.0 yards per punt.
The Ray Guy Award honors the nation's best collegiate punter. Fans can vote here for the week 1 Ray Guy Punter of the Week Award.
Texas A&M returns to action on Saturday playing host to Utah State at 11:45 a.m. on the SEC Network.
