- Texas A&M owns a 30-14 lead in the all-time series against Missouri since the teams first met in 1981.
- Missouri won the most recent match, 3-1 (21-25, 25-22, 25-12, 25-22) on Sept. 24 at Reed Arena in College Station to end a five-match losing skid against A&M and spoil the Aggies' SEC home season opener.

In a match with SEC championship implications on the line for both teams, Texas A&M needed to defeat Missouri to clinch its first-ever conference championship. The Tigers, who were entering the match 10-0 on their home court, were in a must-win situation in order to stay in the hunt for at least a share of the championship title with one match remaining for each team. Missouri built a 2-1 lead in sets and had the momentum after taking a 22-18 lead in the fourth set. The Aggies then went on to reel off seven unanswered points to close out the frame and force a fifth set. The Aggies took a 4-2 lead in the fifth set after a 3-0 run and never looked back.
- A&M holds a 6-3 edge since the teams joined the SEC in 2012.
- In the most recent meeting—Sept. 24, 2017, at Reed Arena in College Station—Missouri outhit A&M, .259 to .096, for the match as the Aggies committed a then-season high 28 attack errors. The Tigers also tallied eight aces and 13.5 blocks, both then-season highs by an A&M opponent.
- Aggie sophomore outside hitter Hollann Hans took match-high honors in kills with 20 as she reached the 20-kill mark for the third time in her career. Sophomore middle blocker Maddie Douglas, making the first start of her career, led A&M with a then-career-high five blocks. Senior libero Amy Nettles led all players with 15 digs and freshman setter Camille Conner also reached double-figure digs with 13 and completed her second double-double with 25 assists. Missouri had three players reach double-figure kills, including Melanie Crow and Leketor Member-Meneh, who tied for the team lead with 11 kills apiece. Alyssa Munlyn had a match-high 10 blocks, which remains the most blocks by an A&M opposing player this season.
- In the 16 years as members of the Big 12 Conference, A&M led the conference series, 21-11, although Missouri closed out Big 12 play with three consecutive wins against the Aggies.

TEXAS A&M PLAYER NOTES
- Senior libero Amy Nettles has appeared in a school-record 343 consecutive sets. The streak began when the then-freshman came off the bench for the final three sets against Arkansas on Oct. 15, 2014. The now-senior co-captain obliterated the previous record of 284 consecutive sets played, held by fellow San Antonian Suzy Wente since 1994, in the second match of the 2017 season.
- Nettles has 1,357 career digs, ranking seventh in the A&M career records. Nettles needs nine more digs to move into a tie for sixth with Mary Batis (2006-09).
- Nettles holds the A&M record for career digs in SEC matches only with 884.
- Nettles, who has posted double-figure digs in 15 of 18 matches, leads the Aggies and is seventh in the SEC with 3.87 digs per set for the full season as well as 4.15 digs per set in conference matches only.
- Nettles had a career-high 34 digs in the win against Tennessee on Oct. 27. It ties for sixth in the A&M all-time single-match records and is one shy of the school record for most digs in an SEC match held by Heather Reynolds, who had 35 digs in a 3-2 win at Georgia on Nov. 24, 2013.
- Sophomore outside hitter Hollann Hans is second in the SEC with 0.38 aces per set in conference matches only, and she is third in the league with 0.43 aces per set in all matches.
- Hans has served at least one ace in 13 of 18 matches and has posted two or more aces eight times, including two four-ace performances.
- Hans, who was named SEC Player of the Week for the first time in her career on Oct. 2, leads the Aggies and is fifth in the SEC with 3.54 kills per set for the full season. She ranks sixth in the league with 4.17 points per set.
- In SEC matches only, Hans leads A&M and is eighth in the league in points (3.85) and ninth in kills (3.26) per set.
- Hans, who has led or tied for the team lead in points in 13 matches and in kills in 10 matches, had career highs of 32.5 points and 28 kills while hitting .328 against No. 5 Penn State. Her 32.5 points against Penn State ties for fourth in A&M single match records, and her 28 kills against the Nittany Lions are the most by an A&M player since Kelsey Black had 28 against Oklahoma on Oct. 6, 2010.
- Freshman lefty Camille Conner, one of the top 14 setters in the nation according to FloVolleyball, was named the SEC Co-Setter of Week for the first time in her career on Oct. 2 after directing the Aggie offense to a season-high .379 hitting percentage at Georgia.
- Conner, the MVP of the season-opening Texas A&M Invitational, is one of only two players in the SEC that has recorded a triple-double this season, having tallied 43 assists, 12 digs and 12 kills while hitting .321 in the five-set loss to No. 5 Penn State. She is the first A&M player to record a triple-double since former lefty setter Allie Sawatzky achieved the feat with 31 assists, 10 kills and 11 digs at Ole Miss on Nov. 10, 2013.
- Conner posted career highs in both assists (46) and digs (16) in the win against Tennessee on Oct. 27 to record her team-leading fourth double-double of the season.
- Two freshmen—Conner and opposite/outside hitter Samantha Sanders—have been mainstays in the Aggies' lineup. Conner has started every match and played in every set. Sanders has played in 17 of 18 matches overall, drawing 11 starts while seeing action at both the opposite and outside hitter positions.
- The Aggies have had three freshmen in the starting lineup in eight of 18 matches.
- Nettles, Hans and Conner are the only three players who have appeared in all 63 sets this season.

- Seven of A&M's losses have been to teams ranked No. 8 or higher. The Aggies pushed No. 5 Penn State to five sets on Sept. 2 and fell to No. 1 Stanford, 3-0, on Sept. 3 at Reed Arena, at No. 6 Wisconsin, 3-0, on Sept. 9, and closed out the preconference schedule with a 3-0 home loss to No. 6 Texas on Sept. 13. A&M also fell to No. 1 Florida, 3-1, in Gainesville and lost twice to No. 8/6 Kentucky.
