LAS VEGAS – Texas A&M's KC Concepcion was named to the Hispanic College Football Player of the Year Watch List, the organization announced Wednesday.
Concepcion ranks No. 24 nationally with 85.0 receiving yards per game and is third in the SEC with a per catch average of 17.0 yards among players with at least 20 receptions. The junior leads the team with 18 receptions resulting in a first down or touchdown, while ranking second with 20 catches for 340 yards and three touchdowns this season. Additionally, the Charlotte, N.C., native ranks No. 7 in punt returns at 20.3 yards per return.
The inaugural College Football Watch List recognizes 15 standout Hispanic athletes who are making a significant impact during the 2025 season. Each player has earned a starting role and demonstrated excellence on and off the field.
"Shining a light on Hispanic athletes who are already proving themselves on some of the biggest stages in college football is exactly why we created this Watch List," said Ron Rivera, HFHOF Founding Board Member. "Their stories bring great pride to our community."
Concepcion and the Aggies return to Kyle Field on Saturday when they host Mississippi State for a 6:30 p.m. CT kick on SEC Network.
