COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 5 Texas A&M Aggies return home for a three-game series against the Georgia Bulldogs starting Friday.
The Aggies are looking to snap a four-game losing streak, sending BRIGHAM HILL to the mound for Friday night's game. Hill leads the team in appearances ERA (1.66), innings pitched (38.0) and appearances (14). The northpaw owns a 3-0 record with one save and a 1.08 WHIP.
Texas A&M is looking to get the offensive engine revving again. The Maroon and White are paced by BOOMER WHITE who is hitting .412 with 22 runs, six doubles, one home run and 22 RBI. J.B. MOSS is hitting .381 with a team-highs in runs (38), slugging percentage (.661) and stolen bases (10). HUNTER MELTON is hitting .354 with a team-high 31 RBI.
The Aggies are 17-1 at home this season. The pitching staff owns a 1.85 ERA and is holding opponents to a .211 batting average at Blue Bell Park. Hill is 2-0 with a 0.98 ERA and JACE VINES is 4-0 with a 2.45 ERA on the Olsen Field mound. Offensively, the Aggies are hitting .338 at home, paced by RYNE BIRK's .418 average.
