SERIES PREVIEW: Northwestern State

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 3 Texas A&M Aggies continue their 10-game homestand on Tuesday and Wednesday as they host the Northwestern State Demons in a pair of 6:30 pm contests on Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.
The Aggies look to extend three streaks this week, including a six-game win streak, 12-game home win streak and a 21-game win streak in mid-week contests.
The game will be available for viewing on SEC Network + with Will Johnson and Mark Johnson on the call. SEC Network + provides digital-only events to SEC Network subscribers through WatchESPN and the ESPN app on smartphones, computers, tablets and connected devices (Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 and Xbox One). All games this season will be broadcast locally on SportsRadio 1150/102.7 The Zone.
The Maroon and White pitching staff is putting up historic numbers early in the season. For the first time in program history, the Aggies have five shutouts in the first 12 games of the season. The pitching staff has a 1.78 ERA with the bullpen boasting a 1.26 ERA. The pitchers have 132 strikeouts (30 walks) in 111.0 innings of work.
Texas A&M is outscoring opponents 110-23 on the season, including 82-12 after the third inning and 49-5 in the middle third of games. Nick Choruby, J.B. Moss and Boomer White enter the week with nine-game hit streaks. It marks the longest career streaks for Choruby and Moss.
