COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M Aggies and Florida Gators meet in a battle of top-ranked squads. The Maroon and White top the USA Today Coaches Poll as well as the Baseball America, D1Baseball.com and National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association ranking. Florida sits atop the Collegiate Baseball ranking.
Florida was ranked No. 1 in all of the polls for the first five weeks of the season, but was removed from the top perch in four of the five polls after losing two of three at Kentucky last weekend. This series allows an opportunity for one of the teams to reunify the belts.

On the mound, the Aggies rank third in the nation in shutouts (5), eighth in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.51), WHIP (1.12), 13th in strikeouts per nine innings (9.5), and15th in ERA. Jace Vines was scratched from his Friday start due to illness.
