SERIES PREVIEW: Fresno State

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 3 Texas A&M Aggies and the Fresno State Bulldogs meet in a three-game series which figures to feature gems on the mound.
The probable starters for the squads are a combined 13-0 on the season, all with ERAs below 2.50, including three starters with sub-1.00 ERAs. Texas A&M enters the fray with a team ERA of 2.10, while Fresno State boasts a 1.78 ERA. The Maroon and White rank fourth in the nation in strikeouts per nine innings (11.0), fifth in K-to-BB ratio (4.17), seventh in WHIP (0.98) and 14th in ERA (2.1). The Aggies lead the nation with five shutouts on the year.
Texas A&M is outscoring opponents 117-29 on the season, including 87-16 after the third inning and 54-5 in the middle third of games. The Aggies rank second in the nation in batting average (.353), seventh in slugging percentage (.534), eighth in on-base percentage (.432) and 13th in runs per game (9.0).
Boomer White is the toughest player in the nation to strikeout, logging 53 at-bats without a strikeout on the year. White has reached base in every game this season and he is one of three A&M players to enter the weekend with 10-game hit streaks with Nick Choruby and J.B. Moss.
The Aggies look to extend couple of team streaks this weekend, including a seven-game win streak and a 13-game home win streak.
