No. 4 Texas A&M Hosts a Pair of Midweek Games

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 4 Texas A&M Aggies enter midweek action against Stephen F. Austin on Tuesday and Prairie View A&M on Wednesday with a pair of impressive streaks in tow. The Aggies have won their last 33 regular-season non-conference games, including 25 in a row last season. The Maroon and White also have an 18-game win streak in midweek action, including 13 in a row in 2015.
Both games will be available for viewing on SEC Network + with Will Johnson and Mark Johnson on the call. SEC Network + provides digital-only events to SEC Network subscribers through WatchESPN and the ESPN app on smartphones, computers, tablets and connected devices (Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 and Xbox One). All games this season will be broadcast locally on SportsRadio 1150/102.7 The Zone.
Sophomore Jace Vines and freshman Stephen Kolek will make their first career A&M starts on the mound.
Texas A&M opened the season with a series sweep against Hofstra, outscoring the Pride 25-6. The Aggies hit .320 in the series and walloped six home runs, including two each by Ronnie Gideon and Hunter Melton. Texas A&M's bullpen yielded just one run in 11.0 innings of work versus Hofstra, scattering eight hits and one walk while striking out 13.

With both a baseball and men's basketball game scheduled for Wednesday evening, fans headed to Blue Bell Park are encouraged to approach the campus from George Bush Drive and fans headed to Reed Arena are encouraged to approach campus from Raymond Stotzer Parkway.
