Dec 10, 2015 | Women's Basketball
ATLANTA, Ga.- Texas A&M seniors Courtney Walker and Courtney Williams have been selected to the 2016 watch list for the Naismith Trophy Women's College Player of the Year Award, which recognizes the top basketball player in the nation.
Walker, the fourth two-time All-American in A&M history, is averaging 16.0 points per game this season. Walker was named SEC Player of the Week for the fourth time in her career on Nov. 24.
Williams currently leads the team in scoring with 16.2 points per game. Williams was named Co-SEC Player of the Week on Dec. 1, and stands as one of nine SEC players on the 50-player list.
