Aggies Compete at LSU Invitational

BATON ROUGE, Louis. – The Texas A&M tennis team completed four singles matches on get-away day of the LSU Invitational Sunday afternoon at the LSU Tennis Complex in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Aggies faced players from Denver, host-LSU and Tulane in Sunday's matches; while Princeton and Ole Miss were also in town for the invitational.
Freshman Kevin Lam stayed hot in the bayou state, defeating Eric Wagner of Tulane to give him his third straight win at the LSU Invitational. Junior Frankie Colunga joined Lam in the win column, besting Cameron Andry in straight-sets after a retirement.
The Aggies will take to road this week as sophomore Arthur Rinderknech will compete at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships hosted at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY beginning Thursday.
