COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M Aggies will host the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks in an NCAA Championship first round game at Ellis Field on Friday, Nov. 9 the NCAA announced on Monday. First kick is slated for 7 p.m.

Texas A&M received an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship to keep their streak alive at 18 consecutive years.  The Aggies are one of five teams to make it to every NCAA Tournament since 1995. The other schools include North Carolina (1982-2012), Notre Dame (1993-2012), Virginia (1994-2012) and Penn State (1995-2012). A&M head coach G Guerrieri and North Carolina's Anson Dorrance are the only two head coaches to appear in every NCAA Tournament since 1995.

The Aggies are 17-4-1 on the season and enter the tournament ranked eighth in goals-against average at 0.534. Texas A&M won the SEC Western Division title and finished 10-2-1 in league play.

Stephen F. Austin is 17-3 on the year and ranked 17th in goals-against average at 0.605. The Ladyjacks will be making their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2007 and the third in the history of the program. They earned the Southland Conference automatic bid with a 2-1 win over Lamar on Sunday. The Ladyjacks went a perfect 8-0-0 in league action.

Texas A&M owns a 3-0 edge in the all-time series with all games played in College Station. The teams last met in the first round of the 2007 NCAA Championship with the Aggies posting a 4-1 win highlighted by a pair of Ashlee Pistorius goals in the first 10 minutes of action. The teams opened the 2006 season in College Station with the Aggies posting a 3-0 win. The first meeting between the teams came in 1995 with the Aggies logging a 10-0 win.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.AggieAthletics.com, in person at the Zone at Kyle Field box office, or over the phone at 1-888-99-AGGIE. Tickets ordered over the phone will be left at the Ellis Field Will Call window to be picked up on the day of the game. Fans may purchase reserved tickets for $18 (West Midfield), $15 (West Sideline) or $9 (West Goal Line), or can buy general admission tickets for $7 (Adult), $4 (Youth or Student). Children two-and-under will be admitted free.

The winner of Friday's game will advance to second-round action on Friday, Nov. 16 to play either Ohio State or Oakland in a yet to be determined location.
