Andi Tate, a state licensed and nationally certified athletic trainer, is beginning her fourth year as an athletic trainer for the Texas A&M soccer team. Prior to joining the staff at Texas A&M, Andi was an athletic trainer at Magnolia West High School in Magnolia, Texas for four years.
Andi's love of athletic training began her sophomore year of high school when she was introduced to the profession by her first mentor Bernie Camarillo. While attending Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas, she was a student athletic trainer for the football and softball teams. Continuing her education at Texas A&M, Andi became a student athletic trainer in 2003 and worked with the women's tennis, baseball, and football teams. After her graduation in 2005 with a BS degree in education, she attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas to earn a MS degree in athletic training. During her time in the graduate athletic training education program, Andi had the opportunity to work with the SFA cross country and baseball teams.
In addition to working with the soccer team, Andi also works with the equestrian team. She is also in charge of maintaining the website for the A&M Sports Medicine Team. A native of Corsicana, Texas, Andi spends her free time enjoying photography, reading, and spending time with her family.
