Enjoyed a break-out, All-America campaign during his second season in Aggieland ... garnered All-America honors from College Baseball Insider (First Team), American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings (Second Team) and Collegiate Baseball (Second Team) ... additionally was named Big 12 Player of the Year (Coaches, Daily Oklahoman and Waco Tribune-Herald), first team All-Big 12 and to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Midwest Region Team ... started 68 games, all in right field ... led the nation in hits with 104 while pacing the Big 12 with a .381 (104-for-273) batting average ... topped the Aggies in runs scored (68), doubles (23), triples (7), walks (29) and total bases (147) ... drove in 44 runs while finishing 6-for-13 on the base paths ... led team with 32 multi-hit games ... flashed his impressive arm by piling up a team-high seven assists ... went 3-for-5 with a pair of triples and a season-high four runs in a win over Le Moyne (Feb. 20) ... became the first Aggie since the 2007 to hit for the cycle as he went 4-for-6 with six RBI and his first home run of the season during a win over Houston (March 6) at Minute Maid Park ... selected to the All-Tournament Team at the Houston College Classic ... moved to the top of the A&M batting order, a spot he would hold 40 times, on April 8 at Texas Tech and responded with a season-best four hits ... connected his second long ball of the season during a 3-for-4 effort against No. 15 Oklahoma State (April 24) ... put together an impressive 27-game hitting streak from March 30 through May 14, leaving him just one contest shy of the school record for consecutive games with a hit ... enjoyed a solid week at the Big 12 Tournament in Oklahoma City, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team ... produced a multi-hit game in each of the Aggies' four games at the NCAA College Station Regional to be named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player and earn a spot on the All-Tournament Team ... recognized for his on-field performance with a spot on the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team.

2010 (FRESHMAN)
Appeared in 58 games, making 47 starts (all in right field) ... started the final 30 games in right ... batted .244 on the year with 10 extra base hits (eight doubles and a pair of home runs) ... led the team with four sacrifice flies ... scored 29 runs and drove in 19 ... was 6-of-8 in stolen base attempts ... recorded eight outfield assists on the year, most since Cory Patton (8) in 2004 ... made first start of career in right in the Aggies' 6-3 win over Seton Hall (Feb. 20) ... drove in first career RBI and drew two walks against SFA (Feb. 24) ... first extra-base hit, a double, came against Western Kentucky in Waco (Feb. 26) ... key RBI against No. 20 Rice (April 20) was the eventual game-winner ... had a pair of hits and an RBI as Aggies topped No. 17 Oklahoma (April 23) ... 2-for-3 with a double and RBI in 7-5 win over Prairie View (April 27) ... 2-for-5 with a double, RBI and two runs scored in 10-5 win at Nebraska (May 1) ... had two hits, including first career home run, in win over Dallas Baptist (May 7) ... totaled five hits and four runs scored in series win over Patriots ... set a career high with a perfect 4-for-4 night in series-opening win at Oklahoma State (May 14) ... three-run home run in the second came with two outs and was the eventual game winner in 9-3 victory ... career day in win over No. 1 Texas (May 29), going 4-for-5 with two doubles, a home run and three RBI ... hit .326 over final 12 games of the regular season and .316 in the Big 12 Championship ... knocked three hits with an RBI double in the opening game of the NCAA Coral Gables Regional (June 4) ... reached safely (H, BB, or HBP) in 20 of last 29 games.

AT KLEIN COLLINS HIGH SCHOOL
A three-year letterwinner for coach Kent Meador at Klein Collins High School in Spring ... was a two-time all-state, three time all-district and three-time all-greater Houston selection for the Tigers ... named the district's most valuable player by the Houston Chronicle and tabbed the Klein Sun's Player of the Year as a senior (2009) ... all-state honoree who hit .441 with 13 home runs as his team advanced to the regional semifinals ... lifted Klein Collins to the regional championship game as a junior (2008), hitting .441 with six home runs en route to all-district, all-greater Houston and all-state accolades ... helped the Tigers to the state semifinals as a sophomore (2007) with a .442 batting average and six home runs ... was named to the state all-tournament team ... selected in the 33rd round of the 2009 Major League Baseball draft by the Baltimore Orioles.
