FRESNO, Calif. - Texas A&M remained atop the final regular-season edition of the Women's Intercollegiate Equestrian National Coaches Poll, released Tuesday.

The Aggies finished the regular season with a school-record 10-1 mark following a victory last weekend at Fresno State. A&M has topped the poll since the middle of November, when it earned the first No. 1 ranking in program history.

Auburn is second, followed by Georgia, Oklahoma State, Baylor, TCU, South Carolina, Kansas State, Fresno State and New Mexico State.

The collegiate coaches competing under the Varsity Equestrian Championship umbrella initiated the national poll. The next ranking is scheduled for Tuesday, March 29.

A&M will host the third-annual Big 12 Championships this Friday and Saturday at the Brazos County Expo Complex in Bryan. The Aggies are the top seed for the event and will face fourth-seeded Kansas State in Friday's semifinal round. Action gets underway both days at 10 a.m. and admission is free.
