(11/14/13)-- The Texas A&M Baseball program received certification on National Letters of Intent and appropriate paperwork for nine newcomers for the 2015 season, including seven of the top high school student-athletes in the nation head coach Rob Childress announced on Thursday.

“Coach (Justin) Seely, our recruiting coordinator, did an incredible job of putting together a very talented class along with the help of Coach Andy Sawyers,” Childress said. “These young men are not only incredibly talented but they are also of great character. These nine guys will not only make an immediate impact on the field in competing in the SEC but will also make a difference off the field during their time at Texas A&M.” More...

(11/13/13)-- Texas A&M equestrian Associate Head Coach Linzy Woolf announced today the signing of Kristen Mohr (pronounced MORE) to a national letter of intent to ride for the Aggies, starting in the fall of 2014. “We are very excited to add Kristen to our roster,” Woolf said. “She is one of the top riders in the nation and will bring a large amount of talent and invaluable experience to our hunter seat squad. (11/14/13)-- Texas A&M equestrian Assistant Coach Beth Bass announced today the signing of Emily Davis to a National Letter of Intent to ride for the Aggies. Davis (Hamshire, Texas) will join the Texas A&M horsemanship squad in the fall of 2014. “We are thrilled to have Emily join our team next year,” Bass said. “She has bled maroon for a long time and has worked hard to accomplish this goal. Her accomplishments in the arena showing quite a few different types of horses will bode well for her transition to collegiate equestrian.”” More...

(11/19/13)-- Texas A&M equestrian Associate Head Coach Linzy Woolf announced today the signing of Rachael Hake to a National Letter of Intent to compete with the Aggies’ hunter seat squad. “We are looking forward to Rachael joining our hunter seat squad in the fall,” Woolf said. “We were really impressed with her style and ability to ride different horses after seeing her participate in our summer camp. (11/13/13)-- Texas A&M men’s basketball head coach Billy Kennedy announced Wednesday the signing of point guard Alex Robinson who will join the Aggie basketball program next fall in advance of the 2014-15 season.

“Alex is a true point that we’ve been recruiting since we got to Aggieland,” Kennedy said. “He makes other people around him better with his ability to create offense. He’s also a great athlete who can really defend the point. He comes from a good family and is an outstanding student in the classroom.” More...

(11/14/13)-- Texas A&M men’s basketball head coach Billy Kennedy announced Thursday the addition of Sidy Ndir, a 6-foot-3 guard and native of Senegal, to the Aggies’ signing class.

“Sidy is an athletic guard who can really shoot the basketball and score in bunches,” Kennedy said. “He’s also got the ability to play multiple positions on the floor. His dad is a coach overseas, so he’s got a great understanding of the game.” More...

(11/14/13)-- Texas A&M men’s golf head coach J.T. Higgins announced Thursday the signing of five talented golfers who will join the program in the fall of 2014.

The impressive class consists of standouts Connor Black (Humble, Texas), Cameron Champ (Sacramento, Calif.), Andrew Paysse (Temple, Texas), Peter Thorseth (Richmond, Texas) and Jacob Veerman (Sugar Land, Texas).

“This is probably the best class we have ever signed,” Higgins said of the group. “Three Rolex All-Americans, the Texas State High School Champion and a player who we think has the talent to compete with anyone in the nation. I think it is a unique group because of their incredible experience but at the same time, I don’t think any of them have hit their peak. There is a lot of room for growth and improvement and that has us really excited about the future of our program. It is a group that has competed and won at an elite level, including internationally, and knows what it takes to win championships.” More...

(11/14/13)-- Texas A&M men’s tennis head coach Steve Denton announced the signing of a Top 25 National Blue Chip tennis player in A.J. Catanzariti (pronounced ca-TAN-za-ree-tee) from College Park, Maryland, that should help continue to build upon the Aggies’ current streak of 20 NCAA Championship appearances.

“We are very pleased to sign one of the top players in the country in A.J. Cantanzariti,” Denton said. “He will really help us. He is a great athlete, a hard worker and has a tremendous upside. I think he will fit in really well with the guys on the team and will help us next year.” More...

(11/13/13)--Texas A&M softball head coach Jo Evans announced Wednesday that seven high school seniors signed national letters of intent to play for the maroon and white.

Joining the Aggies on the field for the 2015 season will be Kristen Cuyos (Pearland), Erin Houthoofd (Beach City), Kayla Ober (Katy), Hailey Rebar (San Antonio), Erica Russell (Bryan), Tori Vidales (La Porte) and Ashley Walters (Kerrville).

“Our 2014 recruiting class is outstanding,” Evans said. “It is a group of very athletic, versatile, athletes. We lose eight seniors at the end of this season, so this class will be expected to make an immediate impact in our program. I believe they have the talent to compete in the SEC and help us win championships. They have all been verbally committed to our program for quite some time, so they have had the opportunity to spend a lot of time around our program, attend our camps, clinics, and games, and to integrate themselves into our Aggie Family. (11/14/13)-- Texas A&M women’s basketball announced the signing of Khaalia (Kai-la) Hillsman to a National Letter of Intent on Thursday. Hillsman, a 6-5 post player from Chicago, Ill., is ranked as one of the top recruits in the country.

“I think she is in a long line of great ‘five’ players to have played at Texas A&M in LaToya Micheaux, Danielle Adams, Kelsey Bone, Karla Gilbert and now Khaalia Hillsman,” said head coach Gary Blair. “She has been extremely well-coached and has played at the highest level for a player her age.
