No. 15 Texas A&M looks to advance to their seventh straight conference tournament championship game, facing No. 6 Tennessee in the SEC Tournament Semifinals.

The Aggies defeated Tennessee 66-62 in the 2013 SEC Tournament Semifinals, but the Aggies had their biggest loss of the 2013-14 season, a 21-point setback on Jan. 26, against the Lady Volunteers.

The 2-seed Lady Vols come into this game after a 77-65 defeat of 10th-seeded LSU in the quarterfinals, coming back from 15 points down in the first half to win. The Aggies scored a season-high 86 points to defeat 6-seed Auburn 86-54, the Aggies’ largest conference tournament win in history.

A&M has reached six straight conference tournament championship games, dating back to the Aggies’ days in the Big 12 Conference, winning three of them. Stanford, Connecticut and Texas A&M are the only power conference schools with at least six straight conference tournament championship game appearances entering this year.

The Aggies are appearing in their ninth-straight conference tournament semifinal, dating back to 2006. Texas A&M is 16-3 in all conference tournament games since 2008.

The game is televised on ESPNU, with Cara Capuano and Carolyn Peck on the call. Mike Wright and Steve Miller will bring the action to listeners on KZNE 1150 AM.

The winner of this game faces 1-seed South Carolina or 4-seed Kentucky in the SEC Championship game at 2:30 CT Sunday on ESPN.
