No. 16 Aggies Host No. 15 Kentucky In ESPN2-Televised Contest

COLLEGE STATION- No. 16 Texas A&M looks for its fifth straight win as No. 15 Kentucky visits in the fourth Top 20 matchup that Reed Arena has hosted this year.

This is also the Aggies' bookmark game, with over 8,000 bookmarks featuring Texas A&M Women’s Basketball players distributed to elementary school-children in the local community to promote the importance of reading, and also serve as a free ticket to the game Sunday. The Aggies enter this game as winners of 14 of their last 16 games, and have won 12 of their 13 games at home this season. Inside, the Aggies are paced by Karla Gilbert, who has averaged 16.6 points and 8.4 rebounds over her last seven games.

Kentucky knocked off No. 8 Tennessee in Knoxville on Feb. 16, a 75-71 victory in the closing seconds. Earlier this season, the Wildcats defeated Baylor 133-130 in four overtimes at at&t Stadium in Arlington.

In their previous game, Texas A&M clinched a bye into the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament, which starts for the Aggies on Mar. 7.

After this game, the Aggies host Arkansas on Feb. 27 in their final home game of the regular season at 7 p.m.
