Women's Basketball Promotions: Jan. 19 vs. Mississippi State

No. 25 Texas A&M puts its seven game winning streak and nine game home winning streak on the line again on Sunday against Mississippi State at 2 p.m. The Aggies are coming off three straight wins against ranked opponents, including a 67-65 overtime win over No. 8 South Carolina on Thursday. These promotions are in store for Sunday's game:

TAKE A KID TO THE BALL GAME

For select A&M home games, fans can take a kid to the ball game. One adult GA ticket can get four kids in free for this game. This promotion continues for Feb. 13 vs. Georgia and Feb. 27 vs. Arkansas.

KID’S COURT

Prior to the game children are invited to in “Kid’s Court” inside the women’s practice gym beginning one hour prior to tipoff. Kids will have the chance to shoot baskets or participate in poster making, face painting and other activities.

Kids and parents can access “Kid’s Court” by entering the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball from the arena concourse and following the signage for “Kid’s Court”.

YOUTH YELL LEADER CLINIC

Prior to the game, the Aggie Yell Leaders host a Youth Yell Leader Clinic in the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The clinic features an inside look into what it takes to be a Texas A&M Yell Leader and how to lead the 12th Man. Pre-registration was required for this event, no walk-up purchases.

SPORTS PASS SPECIAL

Texas A&M students who have an All-Sports pass can bring a fellow student into the game for free. This promotion will run during all January home games.

RETURN OF FAMILIAR FACES

Mississippi State’s head coach, Vic Schaefer, was an assistant at Texas A&M from 2003-2012, helping the Aggies to the 2011 NCAA Championship. The Mississippi State staff includes former A&M assistant Johnnie Harris (Associate Head Coach) and former Texas A&M players Aqua Franklin (Assistant Coach), Maryann Baker (Director of Operations) and Skylar Collins (Video Coordinator), all of whom make their first appearance back at Reed Arena.
