Texas A&M’s women’s basketball game on January 16th at 7 p.m. against South Carolina has been selected for television broadcast on Fox Sports Southwest, by rights granted from Learfield Sports.

This is the 10th game on Texas A&M's television schedule for the year, nine of which are during Southeastern Conference play.

Texas A&M won the only two previous meetings between the two schools, both of which occurred in 2012-13.

In the sides’ inaugural SEC matchup, Kelsey Bone scored with 8.8 seconds left to give No. 16 Texas A&M a 50-48 victory over No. 15 South Carolina in Columbia.

Kristi Bellock scored 17 points in the SEC Tournament against South Carolina, resulting in a 61-52 win for Texas A&M that started their run to the SEC Tournament Title.

The 13th-ranked Gamecocks are 13-1 and 1-0 in the SEC so far in 2013-14, while the Aggies are 10-4 through the non-conference season and 7-0 at home.
