Kelsey Bone Named SEC Player of the Week

 

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -Texas A&M Junior forward Kelsey Bone capped off impressive week with SEC Player of the Week honors the conference office announced earlier today.  Bone was the leading scorer in each game the Aggies played this week including a career high 33 points against Old Dominion last Thursday in the World Vision Classic.

 

Bone was named to the World Vision Classic after shooting 39-of-46 (.848) from the floor and averaging 27.7 points per game and 10.3 rebounds in the three contests. The Houston native scored 20-plus points in each of the three contests and had two double-doubles (against Kansas State and Old Dominion).

The Aggies will return to Reed Arena on Dec. 28 to face Prairie View A&M at 7 p.m. Friday night will continue the Holiday Hoops promotion and will be Christmas night at Reed.
