A&M Baseball Hosts Scrimmage on Saturday Afternoon

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M baseball team will hold an open scrimmage on Saturday at 1 p.m. on Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. The contest is be free to spectators.

The Aggies return 17 letterwinners from 2013, including seven starting position players and four starting pitchers. All-SEC Second Team performers Krey Bratsen, in centerfield, and Daniel Mengden, on the mound, highlight the group of returnees as well as SEC All-Defensive Team selection Cole Lankford at first base.

In preseason polls, A&M was ranked No. 19 in the Perfect Game USA Preseason Top 25 Poll, No. 23 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Top 30 and No. 24 in the Baseball America Preseason Top 25 Poll.
