2015 (SOPHOMORE): S2-0 with a 0.00 ERA and four saves...struck out 18 in 13.1 innings across 11 appearances...batters hitting .109 (5-for-46) against him on the season ...aved his first career game with a perfect inning against Penn State (2/22)....saved his second game against  Nebraska (3/6) allowing no basrunners...earned his third save by striking out the side against UTPA (3/10)...saved his fourth ballgame throwing 1.2 innings allowing just one baserunner...

2014 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in four games as a freshman, logging a 0-0 record with a 1.80 earned run average with four strikeouts in 5.0 innings of work... held opponents to a .158 batting average... yielded his lone run of the year in his first career outing, 1.0 inning against Northeastern (Feb. 15)... worked 1.0 inning in A&M’s 6-0 shutout against Texas Southern (3/5)... fanned two of the seven batters he faced in 2.0 blank innings against Texas-Pan American (3/11)... worked a scoreless frame in a victory over Abilene Christian (4/16)... pitched for the La Crosse Loggers of the Northwoods League... tabbed the No. 58 pro prospect of the Northwoods League... appeared in seven games for the Loggers, including one start... posted a 2-1 record with one save, a 3.30 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 16.1 innings of work.

 AT O’CONNOR HIGH SCHOOL: Under coach David Collenback, he has been honored with 2012 Player of the Year and two- time District MVP honors…possesses the strikeout and ERA record at O’Connor…helped the Panthers participate in playoffs all four years, reaching the State-Semi’s his senior year…freshman year held 1-1 single, growing to a 6-4 pitching record sophomore year, advancing to 8-0 junior year alongside a batted .380, finishing off strong at an 8-2 pitching record and batted .445 his last year…played summer baseball with the Houston Bandits...member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL: Mark Edward Ecker was June 27, 1995 in San Antonio, Texas to Toni and Steve Ecker...has two younger sisters, Alexandra and Andrea…first in the family to attend A&M…Sports Management major, who aims to work in the front office of a major league team office…hobbies include golf, hunting, fishing and ping pong.
