2013 (REdSHIRT FRESHMAN): Made eight relief appearances as a freshman... posted a 0-0 mark with a 0.00 ERA in 5.1 innings of work... allowed just one unearned run on five hits and four walks while striking out three... appeared in four SEC games, pitching 2.2 scoreless innings, yielding one run and two walks while striking out two... made first collegiate appearance, retiring both batters he faced in 0.2 innings of relief against Illinois-Chicago (2/17)... fanned a career-high two batters in 1.1 innings of shutout relief against Mississippi State (4/13)... started six games for the Mat-Su Miners of the Alaska Baseball League, posting a 3-2 record and 4.50 ERA... fanned 23, allowing 32 hits and 16 walks over 34.0 innings of work.

2012 (FRESHMAN): Did not see action during a redshirt season... pitched for the East Texas Pump Jacks of the Texas Collegiate League... worked in 11 games, including 10 starts, posting a 2-5 record with a 4.12 ERA and 40 strikeouts in 59.0 innings... earned a win in his only playoff game, allowing one run on five hits and two walks while striking out three over 6.0 innings in a start against the Victoria Generals.

AT BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Jim Long at Brenhan High School, lettering three years... helped lead BHS to the 2009 4A State Championship and the state semi-finals in both 2009 and 2010... as a sophomore (2009) went 8-1 with a 2.46 ERA, earning second team all-district honors... went 9-2 with a 2.21 ERA while also hitting .333 at the plate during BHS’s run to a state title as a junior (2010)... named first team All-Brazos Valley and second team 4A All-State by the Texas Sports Writers Association... during his senior season (2011) went 11-2 with a 2.26 ERA en route to first-team all-district accolades... also earned three letters in football as a quarterback, earning district MVP, second-team All-Greater Houston and second-team All-Brazos Valley honors... earned THSBCA Academic All-State honors... a member of the National Honor Society and a KBTX Classroom Champion selection as a senior... played summer ball with the Brazos Valley Renegades.

PERSONAL: Ty Conner Schlottmann was born June 1, 1992, in Katy, Texas, to parents Charles and Connie Schlottmann... has an older brother, Clay... majoring in sports management... hopes to work for a professional sports team after graduation... enjoys hunting, fishing and hanging out with friends in his spare time.
