The home of the softball team since 1994, the Aggie Softball Complex is conveniently located on West Campus adjacent to Reed Arena (basketball) and Blue Bell Park (baseball) at the corner of Olsen Boulevard and Tom Chandler Drive.
With seating for 1,750 all raised above the field, fans get a great view of the championship-caliber action from every seat.
The complex features a lighted field that houses a state-of-the-art drainage system. An eight-foot padded wall with a warning track rings the outfield, with center field depth at 220 feet and right and left field depths at 190 feet. A grounds crew, supervised by award-winning groundskeeper Leo Goertz and assisted by Craig Potts, is responsible for playing surface maintenance.
Moreover, the complex is equipped with sunken dugouts, four lighted batting cages, two bullpens and an enclosed press box. It also houses a separate ticket office as well as restroom facilities and a concession area.
Texas A&M has hosted championship action many times on the field, including NCAA Regionals in 2005, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012 and 2013; and NCAA Super Regionals in 2007 and 2008.Quick Facts
