TULSA, Okla-- Texas A&M competed in four matches-- two singles and two doubles, on Friday and as you would expect at a national championship, the competition was very tough at the 2013 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships being held at the University of Tulsa's Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

Harrison Adams, from New Braunfels, defeated the No. 4 seed in the field Romain Bogaerts of Wake Forest, 6-4, 6-2 on Thursday in the second round to advance to Friday's match against Austin Smith from Georgia. Jeremy Efferding, from Boca Raton, Florida, dropped a 6-2, 6-1 match to Lloyd Glasspool of Texas in the consolation second round.

Sophomore Shane Vinsant of Keller, Texas, teamed with Adams in the consolation doubles and lost a tight 8-6 match to San Diego State tandem of Thorsten Bertch and Hunter Nicholas.
