SOPHOMORE (2013-14): Garnered All-American, All-SEC first-team honors, All-SEC Tournament and SEC Tournament MVP honors after an impressive junior campaign. Named ITA All-American after advancing to the NCAA Round of 16, Vinsant finished the regular-season on a 12-match winning streak in singles play and went undefeated at 8-0 in SEC matches. The Keller, Texas native completed his season-long rise in the ITA rankings at No. 26 after garnering MVP and SEC-All Tournament team honors for his undefeated play in Nashville … Finished the year ranked No. 63 alongside Adams, partnered to go 8-1 in doubles action in league play primarily on the second doubles court. The sophomore tandem led the Aggies with 21 wins this spring, tied for 10th most doubles wins in a singles season in program history … Named SEC Player of the Week twice in the Spring season, on April 14 earned the honors going 4-0 in singles and doubles matches against Ole Miss and Mississippi State, on February 19 earned the title after an impressive showing in Houston at the ITA Indoor Championships, defeating No. 9 Patrick Pradella of Baylor … Finished the year 33-10 overall and 19-4 in dual matches, was 4-1 on court one, 14-3 on court two and 1-0 on court three. Was 7-4 against ranked opponents in singles action … Alongside Adams finished 27-13 overall and 22-7 in duals, was 7-0 on court one and 15-7 on court two.
FRESHMAN (2012-13): Garnered All-SEC second-team honors as well as All-Freshman team accolades…In the fall, partnered with Harry Adams and claimed the ITA Texas Regional doubles championship and advanced to the USTA/ITA Indoor Individual championships held in New York…Adams and Vinsant were also named as an alternate doubles pair for the NCAA individual championships…Three –time SEC Freshman of the Week (2/13, 3/13, 4/14)…Posted an overall singles record of 26-12 with a 20-8 mark in dual matches…Led the team in both overall and dual match victories…Went 4-0 from No. 3 singles and 16-8 from No. 4…Posted a 7-3 record in SEC play and went 5-3 against ranked opponents… Highest singles ranking came on Feb. 12 at No. 67…In doubles, posted a 28-13 overall record, going 17-9 in dual matches…The 29 doubles wins was good for second on the team…Posted a 8-3 mark in SEC doubles play with Adams as his partner…The tandem went 7-5 against ranked opponents…Posted a 2-0 record from No. 1 doubles and 15-9 from No. 2 …Adams and Vinsant’s highest ranking came on January 3 when they came in at No. 6.
