 Rhiannon Kliesing

Rhiannon Kliesing is in her second season as a volunteer pitching coach for the Aggies, after spending a season as a Texas A&M softball student assistant. The Pearland, Texas, native graduated from Texas A&M with her bachelor’s degree in 2012.

Kliesing enjoyed a successful career at A&M that saw her transition from a pitcher to a first baseman defensively, while hitting for power all four years. After finishing her playing career in 2011, Kliesing went on to play a season of professional ball for the NPF Diamonds after being chosen as the 19th overall pick in the 2011 NPF Draft.

The Aggie standout continues to hold several spots in the Aggie record books. In career stats, Kliesing ranks 10th in batting average (.319), 3rd in RBI, 4th in home runs (41), T-5th in total bases (339), 5th in slugging percentage (.581), 4th in walks (101), 6th in putouts (1,165) and 10th in pitching strikeouts (352). In season records, Kliesing sits at 7th in RBI (53 in 2011), 8th in RBI (51 in RBI), T-4th in home runs (18th in 2011), 10th in total bases (117 in 2011), T-6th in slugging percentage (.741 in 2011), 5th in walks (40 in 2011) and T-10th in walks (34 in 2010).

Rhiannon Nichole Kliesing was born May 16, 1989 to Larry and Julie Kliesing of Pearland, Texas. She has one sister, Adrienne, Texas A&M class of 2015.
