2012 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 50 games and started in 45, 25 of which at first base...Logged 23 RBIs, nine home runs and 28 walks...Had a batting average of .383 in conference play, the highest on the team...Recorded a slugging percentage of .573 and an on base percentage of .435, both of which were third highest on the team...Recorded six fielding double plays, a tie for the highest on the team...Had 13 fielding putouts against Northwestern (Feb. 12) and 4 RBIs versus both Texas (April 28) and Boise State (May 12)...Also scored two home runs against Texas (April 28)...Logged eight multiple hit games and four multiple RBI games.
2011 (FRESHMAN): Plated 24 runs in her rookie season on 25 hits, including three doubles and eight home runs ... Scored 14 runs and drew 20 walks ... Started in 43 of 50 games played ... Went a season-best 2-for-2 against Louisiana Tech (March 13) and again vs. Colorado State (March 19) ... Was 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI vs. Mississippi Valley State (March 12) and 2-for-3 with two home runs against Baylor (March 27).

PERSONAL: Nicole McKenzie Morgan was born December 30, 1991 in The Woodlands, Texas ... Daughter of Karen and Kevin Morgan of The Woodlands, Texas ... Has an older sister, Taylor (24) ... Mom Karen was an All-American diver and dad Kevin Was an All-American swimmer, both at Michigan ... Chose A&M because it "offers a veterinarian school and it feels like home there. When I went on my unofficial visit, the team made me feel like a part of their family and Coach Evans was so welcoming." ... An animal science major who plans to train animals at zoos and parks after graduation.
