Norman Super Regional Set for 6 p.m. Start Friday

NORMAN, Okla. – After poor field conditions postponed the original Thursday match-up, the 16th-seeded Texas A&M softball team and No. 1 Oklahoma will are set to face off in game one of the NCAA Norman Super Regional on Friday at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN.

Game two is set for an 11 a.m. CT start on Saturday with game three, if necessary, to follow at 2 p.m. CT. The TV broadcasts for games two and three is to be determined.

Thursday morning rain created an unplayable outfield at Marita Hynes Field, and the Aggies and Sooners were forced to push Super Regional play back a day. Game one was originally slated for a 6 p.m. CT Thursday start, with game two at 3 p.m. Friday and game three at 6 p.m. Friday, if necessary.
