AUBURN, Ala. --- Texas A&M will be seeking its sixth top 10 national finish at the 2012 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships Thursday through Saturday at Auburn University's Dr. James E. Martin Aquatic Center.

The Aggies are well-equipped for the challenge with 13 student-athletes on their NCAA roster, including 10 swimmers and divers making return trips to the national meet. Representing the A&M women at nationals are seniors Rita Medrano, Jaele Patrick and Janie Potvin, juniors Maureen McLaine, Tess Simpson and Rebecca St. Germain and sophomores Ashley Adams, Cammile Adams, Erica Dittmer, Breeja Larson, Caroline McElhany, Paige Miller and Kim Pavlin.

Larson and Miller led the Aggies with invitations to four events at the 2012 Championships. Larson was invited in the 100- and 200-yard breaststrokes and both medley relays, while Miller qualified in the 100 back and the 100 fly and both medley relays.

In addition, the swimmers will have the opportunity to swim in any race they posted an NCAA "B" cut during the season.
