COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M Aggies have a slew of promotions slated for the second weekend as the Maroon and White host the No. 18 UCF Knights on Friday and Illinois State on Sunday.

Friday marks the Fish Camp Game, always one of the most highly anticipated matches on the calendar.

In order to accommodate the expected influx of students this Friday, ushers will be scanning TAMU IDs for those students who have purchased the 12th Man Sports Pass at both the student entrance located off of Tom Chandler Road and the main entrance to the stadium on Olsen Boulevard.

Students who do not have a sports pass and would like to purchase a $4 ticket to the game should visit the Kyle Field Box Office during regular hours or a ticket window at Ellis Field when gates open for the game. Gates open 1 hour before the games start time. Match time is slated for 8 pm and gates open one hour before the start time. Students who attended Fish Camp this August are encouraged to wear their official Fish Camp t-shirt.

The 2014 schedule poster will also be distributed at Friday evening’s match.

The entertainment carries over to Sunday night when the Aggies host Illinois State in a 1:30 pm match. It will be Youth Soccer Day at Ellis Field. Youth soccer teams are eligible to enter the match free of charge. Contact Casey Doyle (cdoyle@athletics.tamu.edu) for information.

The first 150 kids 12-and-under to visit the Junior Aggie Club table will receive a JAC Drawstring Backpack. Special activities for Junior Aggie Club members include inflatables, poster making, sidewalk chalk, face tattoos and more. Like every home Sunday at Ellis Field, it’s Take A Kid to the Game Day as up to four children (12 and under) are admitted free with the purchase of one adult general admission ticket on the day of the match.

The Aggies are off to a 2-0-0 start for the first time since the 2008 campaign, scoring wins over Dayton (4-3) and Stephen F. Austin (1-0) to kick off the campaign.
