COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M Soccer standout Grace Wright will embark on a trip to La Manga, Spain on Thursday to participate in the Ten Nations Tournament with the Republic of Ireland Under-19 Women’s National Team.

Wright is one of 20 players making the trek to Spain to play three international matches at the tournament. Ireland has fixtures slated against England (March 8), Denmark (March 10) and Sweden (March 12). She is one of two U.S. collegians on the team, joining Syracuse’s Courtney Brosnan.

As a freshman, Wright played in 18 matches, including eight starts. She tallied two assists on the year and logged over 1,000 minutes for the Aggies who finished 18-5-1 overall, won its first-ever SEC regular-season title with a 9-2-0 record and captured a SEC Tournament crown. Her assists came in wins against UTSA and Florida (SEC Tournament championship match).
