COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Big 12 Champion Texas A&M soccer team is now 4-0 on the exhibition season after a 1-0 shutout over former conference regional rival Baylor at Ellis Field on Saturday.

The Aggies took a 1-0 lead early in the first half on a goal by freshman Allie Bailey. Bailey collected a deflected shot by junior Beth West for the game winner.

A&M edged the Bears in shots on frame, 8-to-4, and freshman goalkeeper Jordan Day recorded four saves after spending 90 minutes in goal for the Aggies.

The Aggies also defeated the Bears in the regular season, starting conference play with a 2-1 victory over Baylor at Ellis Field.

The No. 12 (NCAA Final) Aggies will host Southern Methodist next Saturday in their final spring match. That game is set for a 1 p.m. kickoff and is FREE to the public. To learn more about Texas A&M soccer, log on to AggieAthletics.com or follow @AggieSoccer on Twitter.
