COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Big 12 Champion Texas A&M soccer team will host Texas State in the final match of the Aggies' spring season Saturday, March 26, at 4 p.m. at the Aggie Soccer Stadium.
A&M is 6-0 this spring, hosting each game of its exhibition schedule. On March 6 the Aggies topped Houston, 8-2. Junior Megan Majewski scored a hat trick to lead the offense. Five different players had goals in the win and the team outshot the Cougars 32-9 and put 17 shots on frame.
The Bobcats were 12-8-1 in 2010, advancing to the Southland Conference Semifinals where they fell to Southeastern Louisiana, 3-2 in overtime. Senior Britney Curry led the team's offense, netting 14 goals, six of them game winners, and assisting five for 33 points. Junior Lauren Frazier (7-7) saw 1,494 minutes in goal, grabbing 93 saves and allowing 18 goals. She shut out four opponents, two of them in conference play.
