COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 12 Texas A&M Aggies had four players listed on the TopDrawerSoccer.com Preseason Top 100 released on Wednesday.

2012 NSCAA All-America Third Team performer Meghan Streight led the group of Aggies, listed at No. 32. Fellow junior Annie Kunz followed one spot behind at No. 33. Junior goalkeeper Jordan Day was listed No. 63 and senior defender Rachel Lenz was slotted at No. 68.

Streight, who earned All-America recognition as a midfielder in 2012 but is expected to see more action on the backline this season, tallied 12 points as a sophomore, including three goals. She was named All-SEC First Team and SEC Soccer All-Tournament Team last year.

Kunz was tabbed an All-SEC First Team and NSCAA All-South Region Second Team forward as a sophomore. The Golden, Colo.-native tied for the SEC lead with 13 goals on the year and ranked fourth in the league with 0.52 goals per game.

Day was selected an All-SEC First Team and NSCAA All-South Region First Team netminder in 2012. She ranked first in the SEC and 23rd in the nation with a 0.634 goals-against average. Day set a Texas A&M single-season record with her 14 shutouts on the year.

Lenz was named an NSCAA All-South Region First Team defender as a junior. In 2012, she keyed a defense that registered 15 shutouts on the year, tied for third in the nation. The Aggies’ defense led the SEC and ranked 14th in the nation with a 0.628 goals-against average.

Texas A&M was one of eight schools to have four or more players listed on the Top 100. Duke, North Carolina, Penn State, Stanford, UCLA and Virginia each had five players honored. Santa Clara and the Aggies both had four players on the list.

The Aggies host the Maroon & White Game on Saturday at Ellis Field at 7:30 pm. Texas A&M kicks off the regular-season next Friday when the Aggies host the No. 7 Duke Blue Devils in a 7:30 pm contest.
