Texas A&M senior offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi and junior punter Drew Kaser were named to the first-team All-America team selected by Phil Steele’s College Football Preview Magazine.

Ogbuehi, from Allen, Texas, will be seeking to become the third consecutive Texas A&M left tackle to garner first-team All-America honors, joining former teammates Luke Joeckel and Jake Matthews who also went on to become NFL top 10 overall draft picks. Entering his fourth year as a starter, Ogbuehi was a mainstay at guard his first two season before shifting to right tackle as a junior. As a senior, Ogbuehi will shift to the Aggies’ all-important left tackle position, which was vacated by Matthews.

With Ogbuehi helping clear the way, the Aggie offense averaged 490.2 total yards in 2011, a school and Southeastern Conference record 558.5 yards in 2012 and 538.4 yards in 2013. The Aggies have led the SEC in passing offense, scoring offense and total offense the past two seasons.

Kaser, from Strongsville, Ohio, was a first-team All-America pick and a finalist for the Ray Guy Award in his first season as a starter in 2013 after averaging 47.4 yards per punt. Kaser led the SEC in punt average and broke Shane Lechler’s long-standing A&M record of 47.1 average from 1999. Kaser’s amazing season included 17 50-yard plus boots, 17 “coffin corner” efforts, 14 fair catches and a long punt of 76 yards on 44 total tries.
