2013 (SENIOR): Made the switch from offense to defense for his final season in the maroon and white … Played in all 12 games at linebacker, starting at Arkansas (Sept. 28) and against Missouri (Nov. 30) … Recorded 33 stops on the year, with 22 solo tackles … Ranked second on the team with two interceptions … Joined a small group of players who have scored both offensive and defensive touchdowns in their careers with a 30-yard pick-six against Sam Houston State (Sept. 7) … Second interception was an 11-yard play against Vanderbilt (Oct. 26) … Had a career-high seven stops against Missouri, with four solo tackles and an assisted sack.

2012 (JUNIOR): Made three catches for a total of 10 yards … longest catch was six yards vs. Arkansas … appeared in 10 games.

2011 (SOPHOMORE): Caught six passes for 85 yards (14.2 average) and a touchdown … had a season-high two catches against Arkansas and Kansas … his first career touchdown was a 27-yarder against Kansas … also returned a handful of kickoffs, gaining 96 yards on five returns with a long of 26 yards.

2010 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in seven games as a true freshman on special teams ... returned one punt for 23 yards against Louisiana Tech ... collected three tackles on special teams, including two at Kansas.

HIGH SCHOOL: Coached by Jim Streety at Madison High School in San Antonio ... all-state selection as a senior, caught 40 passes for 919 yards and seven scores ... also ran two punts back for touchdowns ... was a first-team all-district pick and a first-team all-area honoree by the San Antonio Express-News ... caught 51 passes for 856 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior ... hauled in 17 passes for 313 yards and nine scores as a sophomore ... chose A&M over Arkansas, Florida State, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.
