Texas A&M freshman Katerina Ruzickova's sensational first season in Aggieland was recognized when she was named to Golfweek's All-Freshman team and earned honorable mention All-America honors from the publication.

Ruzickova's first season at Texas A&M featured a program-best sixth-place individual finish at the NCAA Championships, a runner-up finish at the Big 12 Championships and the first victory of her college career at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate. She competed in 100 percent of the Aggies' rounds in 2010-11 and led the team with an A&M freshman record scoring average of 73.12, which ranked No. 4 overall in school history. She finished in the top seven at six tournaments, including the last four of the season.

Joining Ruzickova, from Ostrava, Czech Republic, on the All-Freshman team were Sophia Popov of USC, Stephanie Meadow of Alabama, Emily Tubert of Arkansas and 2011 NCAA Champion Austin Ernst of LSU.
