GLEN COVE, NY – Texas A&M sophomore Marijosse Navarro claimed one of the final match play spots at five-over par through 36 holes on the 6,297 yard, par-70 Nassau Country Club at the US Women’s Amateur Championship.

Two holes were completed before play was suspended due to darkness, with three players eliminated. Michelle Piyapattra, Mariana Sims, Haylee Harford, Lakareber Abe and Mary Chandler Bryan will resume the playoff Wednesday at 6:15 a.m. CDT.
