COLLEGE STATION After making a seventh consecutive trip to the NCAA Championship last month the Texas A&M men’s golf team has turned its attention to the upcoming campaign as Tuesday the program announced its 2014-15 schedule.

The well-traveled Aggies will take their swings on some of the nation’s top courses in the upcoming year as they are slated to compete in nine states.

Texas A&M will tee off on Sept. 7 when the Aggies face Princeton in a dual match at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield Township, N.J. The team’s first true tournament action comes Sept. 19-21 when A&M takes part in the Dick’s Sporting Goods SEC/ACC Challenge at the Golf Club of Tennessee in Nashville.

The month of October will see the Aggies conclude their fall schedule with a pair of tournaments, beginning at the Jerry Pate Intercollegiate which is slated to take place at the Old Overton Golf Club in Birmingham, Ala., on Oct. 6-7. For the seventh straight season, the Aggies will take part in the U.S. Collegiate Championship in Alpharetta, Ga., on Oct. 17-19.

Returning to the links in February, the Aggies head east to compete on one of golf’s most iconic courses when they tee off at TPC at Sawgrass during the Sea Best Invitational Feb. 2-3. Following the Florida trip, the Aggies will cross the United States as they travel west for the John A. Burns Invitational on Wailua Golf Course in Kauai, Hawai’i, Feb. 18-20.

During March Texas A&M is slated to participate in a trio of tournaments, beginning March 9-11 in Las Vegas during the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters. Returning to the state of Florida, the Aggies will take their swings at the Talis Park Challenge in Naples, Fla., March 15-16 before remaining in the Sunshine State for the Floridian Invitational hosted by the Floridian Resort and Country Club in West Palm Beach, Fla., March 23-24.

Texas A&M’s lone home tournament of the season is scheduled for April 4-5 when the Aggies host some of collegiate golf’s top teams at Traditions Club during the Aggie Invitational.

The 2015 SEC Championship will be held at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Ga., on April 17-19 before NCAA Regionals take place May 14-16 at various campus sites.

Texas A&M enters the season riding a school-record streak of 12 consecutive trips to an NCAA Regional with 41 total in program history. A year ago, the Aggies finished third at the NCAA Raleigh Regional to advance to the NCAA Championship for the seventh consecutive year.

The attention of the college golf world will be focused on the NCAA Championship May 29-June 3 when a new national champion is crowned at Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla.
