Texas A&M Women’s Basketball is partnering with the Texas A&M University Libraries to promote success on and off the court this Sunday when the Aggies host the #15 Kentucky Wildcats in A&M's first “Bookmark Game”.

Over 8,000 bookmarks featuring Texas A&M Women’s Basketball players were distributed to elementary school-children in the local community to promote the importance of reading, and also serve as a free ticket to the game Sunday.

Parents are encouraged to claim their child’s free ticket and purchase additional tickets at a discounted rate in advance by visiting

Bookmarks may be presented to the Reed Arena box office on the day of the game, to be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis and can only guaranteed by being claimed in advance.

Families of children who did not receive a bookmark at their school, can still take advantage of this offer by claiming tickets in advance online.

An additional 1,000 bookmarks will be available for children to pick up on the concourse of Reed Arena prior to the game this Sunday as well as a souvenir poster created by the University Libraries which features members of the women’s basketball team preparing for a winning game plan at the Libraries.
