Women's Basketball Promotions: Jan. 16th vs. South Carolina

No. 25 Texas A&M hosts No. 8 South Carolina on Thursday at 7 p.m. inside Reed Arena, in a matchup of the SEC's only remaining undefeated teams. The Aggies bring a winning streak of six games, and a home winning streak of eight games, to Thursday's contest.

FIRST PLACE BATTLE

Texas A&M and South Carolina enter Thursday’s games as the only unbeaten teams in SEC play, with the winner taking over sole possession of first place in the league standings.

RAISING CANE’S FOR STUDENTS

The first 100 students at Reed Arena for Thursday’s game receive a Raising Cane’s Gift Card.

RAISING CANE’S EATING CONTEST

At halftime, three students have 30 seconds to eat as many Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers as they can. The winner receives a $50 gift card, a Raising Cane’s t-shirt and some Ag swag!

BUNDLE TICKETS TO MEN’S & WOMEN’S HOOPS THIS WEEK TO SAVE $

It’s a big week for basketball in Aggieland as the men host South Carolina on Wednesday night before the women’s team takes center stage when it entertains the Gamecocks on Thursday at Reed Arena.

TAKE A KID TO THE BALL GAME

For select A&M home games, fans can take a kid to the ball game. One adult GA ticket can get four kids in free for this game. This promotion continues for Jan. 19 vs. Mississippi State, Feb. 13 vs. Georgia and Feb. 27 vs. Arkansas.

KID’S COURT

Prior to the game children are invited to in “Kid’s Court” inside the women’s practice gym beginning one hour prior to tipoff. Kids will have the chance to shoot baskets or participate in poster making, face painting and other activities.

Kids and parents can access “Kid’s Court” by entering the Cox-McFerrin Center for Aggie Basketball from the arena concourse and following the signage for “Kid’s Court”.

SPORTS PASS SPECIAL

Texas A&M students who have an All-Sports pass can bring a fellow student into the game for free. This promotion will run during all January home games.

FLO NIGHT

Freshman Leadership Organizations are competing for prizes based on their attendance at this game.

POWER OF THE 12TH MAN

When over 7,000 fans attend a Texas A&M women's basketball game at Reed Arena, the Aggies are 17-7.

WATCH ON FOX SPORTS SOUTHWEST PLUS

The game is televised on FS Southwest Plus, due to the Boston Bruins at Dallas Stars game airing on FS Southwest. Fans with DirecTV can tune in to 677-1 to watch in HD, while DISH Network subscribers can watch on HD on 9581 and on the Hopper on 412-31. Bryan-College Station residents with Suddenlink can tune in to Channel 133 to watch the game on Fox College Sports in Standard Definition. Check your TV guide for listings.
