Game 13 • Monday, December 30, 2013 • 7 p.m.
Arkansas State Red Wolves (6-5, 0-0 Sun Belt) at
Texas A&M Aggies (8-4, 0-0 SEC)
College Station, Texas • Reed Arena (12,989)

Texas A&M's women's basketball team takes to the Reed Arena court for the second time in three days on Monday, December 30 at 7 p.m. to host the Arkansas State Red Wolves, and looks to win its sixth straight game in Reed Arena. The Aggies won a 80-52 contest against Louisiana Tech on Saturday.

Holiday Hoops Presented By Texas A&M Physicians continues for this game, and every home game for the Aggie men and women until Jan. 8. General admission tickets start at just $4, and any student who swipes an All-Sports pass to get into the game can get a fellow Texas A&M student in the game for free.

Texas A&M has been dominant at home so far this season, winning its five home contests by an average of 30.8 points per game. The Aggies have started 5-0 at home for the ninth time in the past 10 years.

Courtney Williams has led the Aggies' charge offensively the past several games. Williams has averaged 16.8 points per game over the last three games, which include her three highest scoring totals of the season. Williams had a double double against Louisiana Tech in her last outing, scoring a career-best 22 points and adding 10 rebounds.

Arkansas State has three local products visiting for Monday's game, as Amanda Lawson, Carlette Wyatt and Carlisha Wyatt, are all from Bryan. A&M boasts former A&M Consolidated star Karla Gilbert, which gives this matchup a distinct Brazos Valley flavor.

Arkansas State, who won the NWIT in 1993, has split both of its all-time meetings with A&M, the last of which was a 77-60 A&M win at SMU's Moody Coliseum in 1994. The Aggies and Red Wolves have not met on either school's campus prior to this game.

After the matchup with the Red Wolves, the Aggies take on UTEP, who entered the season ranked as the No. 6 Mid-Major by espnW, on January 2 with a special tip time of 6 p.m.
