Shedrick is in his first year as Scholastic Supervisor at Texas A&M where he works with the Men's Basketball team.
Prior to his position at Texas A&M, Shedrick worked as a Graduate Assistant for the University of Arkansas Athletic Program. In that position his duties included: counseling and serving as a mentor for student-athletes, maintaining accurate student-athlete records to monitor compliance with National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) eligibility requirements, developing relationships with high profile coaches, athletics staff and institution departments to maximize the opportunity for student-athletes to achieve academic success.
Johnson received his Master's of Education Degree in Workforce Development Education, specializing in Adult Education and personnel from the University of Arkansas College of Education in Summer 2010. Prior to earning his master's degree, Johnson earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas. He lettered four years in football as a defensive back at the University of Arkansas. Johnson was part of the Cotton Bowl in 2008, SEC Western Division Champs in 2007 and Capital One Bowl in 2007. He was the Scholar Athlete of the Year, at the University of Arkansas in 2008.
