Aggies continue medaling performance at U.S. Nationals

IRVINE, Calif. – Four Aggies ended the fourth day of competition at the Phillips 66 Swimming National Championship meet with medals around their necks.

To start off Friday night, both outgoing senior Cammile Adams and senior-to-be Sarah Henry ended up on the medal stand in the 400-meter individual medley. Adams finished fifth with a time of 4:42.00 and Henry finished in the finished in the sixth position with a 4:42.31.

Continuing the Aggies excellent evening of swimming was 2014 senior Breeja Larson and incoming freshman Bethany Galat in the 50-meter breaststroke. Larson took silver behind Olympian and former Olympic teammate Jessica Hardy with a 30.64. Galat finished seventh in the event with a 31.44.

To cap off the evening was incoming freshman Brock Bonetti who qualified for finals in the 50-meter backstroke. Although not finishing up on the medal stand, Bonetti finished in the 21st position with a time of 26.92.
