COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M equestrian sophomore Izzy Norton has seen success on the United States Hunter Jumper Association circuit this summer, placing in the top 10 at two USHJA shows.

The Falls Church, Va., native placed 10th overall at the USHJA Hunter Derby at the Upperville Colt and Horse Show – the oldest horse show in the country. At Norton’s second USHJA event of the summer, the USHJA International Hunter Derby in Lake Placid, N.Y., the sophomore standout took eighth overall. Norton competed on her horse Renoir at both events.

Norton returns to College Station this fall for her second year with the Aggies, who begin the 2014-15 season at home with a Sept. 25 meet against UT Martin at the Hildebrand Equine Complex. To learn more about Texas A&M equestrian, log on to 12thMan.com and follow @AggieEquestrian on Twitter.
