The Aggies open the tournament with a match against Big Ten-foe Iowa at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 29. It is the first of two matches the Maroon and White will play on opening day, as the Aggies also face Tulane at 5 p.m. The Green Wave went 28-4 and was the Conference USA regular season and tournament runner-up last year.
The Aggies conclude the tournament Saturday, August 30 against defending Conference USA regular season and tournament champion UTSA, which will be looking to avenge a season-ending loss against the Aggies in the first round of the 2013 NCAA tournament.
Corbelli, who is entering her 22nd season as head coach of the Aggies, returns 10 letterwinners ‑‑ including four starters -- from last year’s team that went 19-12 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament. She also will welcome seven newcomers when the team begins preseason practice on August 9.
